MPP Chris Glover and other Torontonians are travelling to Ottawa to call on Prime Minister Mark Carney to take a clear public position on the proposed expansion of Billy Bishop Airport.
Billy Bishop Airport is under federal jurisdiction, meaning key decisions about its operations and any proposed expansion are ultimately the responsibility of the federal government, not the City of Toronto or the Province of Ontario. That’s why they’re heading to Ottawa to bring their concerns directly to the federal level about the future of Toronto's waterfront.
We in Ottawa willing be joining them in solidarity! Please meet us on the Hill at noon, and let's make our voices heard!
