$15 million to keep kids housed

Of the approximately 1000 kids who aged out of the Ontario child welfare system last year, about 580 of them went straight into homelessness.

Experts say it would only take about $15 million to divert those aging out of the system into housing - that's just 0.0064516129% of last year's $232.5 billion Ontario budget to stop 580 young people falling into homelessness.
