Bill 56, the Building a More Competitive Economy Act, is a government bill marketed as "Red Tape Reduction". The main outcome of the bill is the banning of automated speed enforcement (speed cameras) in the province of Ontario.
By banning one of the most effective tools we have to calm traffic, we our showing just how little we care about the people who lose their lives on our streets.
